Crawl space and basement waterproofing in Cornelius, NC
Cornelius wraps around Lake Norman, and lakefront and lake-view homes often have walkout basements built into sloped lots. Water moving down those slopes is one of the most common causes of lower-level leaks.
Moisture problems we see in Cornelius homes
Lake humidity adds to the problem, so we usually pair drainage and sump pumps with dehumidification for Cornelius homes.
What to expect from Wetlock
Every Cornelius project starts with a free inspection, scheduled at a time that works for you. We crawl the entire space or walk the full basement, take moisture readings and photos, and show you exactly what we found. Then you get a written, itemized proposal. No pressure, no surprise add-ons, and the work is done by our own crew.

Cornelius Waterproofing FAQ
Why does my Lake Norman basement get damp?
Sloped lake lots send groundwater toward the house, and lake air is humid. Interior drainage, a sump pump and a dehumidifier together keep the space dry.
How much does crawl space encapsulation cost in Cornelius?
Cost depends on the size and height of your crawl space, how much old insulation and debris needs to come out, and whether drainage, a sump pump or fungus growth cleaning is needed. Wetlock provides a free inspection in Cornelius and a written, itemized proposal so you know the exact price before work begins.
